Text (SMS) Banking Security
The mobile banking application only allows transfers by text after a user has set up the function securely in the web application. The application does not send important information through text, and will never ask for secure information such as passwords, PIN numbers, account numbers, or social security numbers. All account information is masked and full account details never appear in SMS messages.


Security


Your user name and password will be your Mobile Banking signature and you can use it to access all accounts that are linked to your social security number.

Mobile Banking uses security measures that meet or exceed worldwide industry standards for secure websites. Only devices meeting minimum security standards will be able to access the mobile banking application. Mobile Banking does not store any passwords, account numbers, balances or history on the mobile device. When the user logs off, the information can no longer be retrieved. Sensitive information such as account numbers, PINs and names are not included in outgoing messages.

Multifactor security will send a message and/or text to your phone each time you log in. Excluding iPhones and Androids whose technology allows for the authentication unique to that device. This added layer of security ensures that only your phone will receive the security code to login. The mobile banking application will time out after 2 minutes to ensure unauthorized access if left unattended.
