Fairmont Federal Credit Union Wins Datatrac Great Rate Award

(Fairmont, W.Va.) – Fairmont Federal Credit Union, one of West Virginia’s largest and most progressive credit unions, was recently awarded a 2009 Datatrac Great Rate Award for outperforming the West Virginia State Market interest rate average on new and used auto loans by over 29% for the 12-month period ending September 30, 2009.

By presenting the Great Rate Award, Datatrac certifies that Fairmont FCU has consistently outperformed the state market average on the new auto loans (48 & 60 months) and used auto loans (36 & 48 month). The Great Rate Award assures consumers that the rate offered by their credit union consistently outperforms the market average and eliminates the cumbersome task of rate shopping. “When you see a Great Rate Award, you know you are getting a great deal,” says Stanley Rittenhouse, CEO.

“We are honored to share this award with our 37,000 members. For over 70 years, Fairmont FCU has strived to be a financial services leader to the communities we serve of Marion, Monongalia, Harrison and Taylor Counties,” said Rittenhouse. “In this changing financial environment, we are driven to succeed through building member confidence that FFCU consistently delivers great rates and affordable products that can improve our member’s financial outlook.”
