Direct Deposit and Electronic Payments with Fairmont FCU

Our goal at Fairmont Federal Credit Union is to offer a full line of convenient and confidential services that give our members an advantage in their financial matters. We aim to provide ease and efficiency for our members when engaging in financial transaction.

If you haven’t set up direct deposit or electronic payments we’re here to provide information to guide you through the process. Using the correct account number when originating a direct deposit or electronic payment is key.

Included below is information explaining where to find Fairmont FCU’s routing number and how to determine which account number should be used based on the deposit going in to your savings or checking account.

Routing Transit Number or ABA Number: 251578844
This may be found at the bottom of the fairmontfcu.com home page or under the Services & Tools tab.  It can also be found in the account details within online banking and at the bottom of your checks, the first series of numbers.

Next, you will need to determine whether you want your funds to be direct deposited in your share (savings) or your checking (share draft) account. Based on which account type you choose the account number will be different.

Share (Savings) Account Number is your base account number, generally five or six digits with no dashes or suffixes. This may be found on your membership card or the upper right-hand corner of your periodic statement.

Checking (Share Draft) Account Number with your MICR number. This may be found in the checking account details within online banking or at the bottom of your checks, the second series of numbers without leading zeros.
